For estate agents

On Finnting you can bring your portfolio together in one place and run bidding rounds built on the same rules that apply everywhere else — eiendomsmeglingsloven (the Norwegian estate agency act) with its regulations, consumer information, a bid log and an acceptance deadline with the 12 o'clock rule.

This page is for you if you are an estate agent considering Finnting. In short: we built the bidding to do it right, and the portfolio tools to make it easy.

Your portfolio, in one place

Bidding that follows the law

Property bidding on Finnting is built on the rules for bidding rounds. Among other things, that means:

The full walkthrough is in Does bidding follow the law?

Agent-led bidding rounds — status

Finnting is starting with bidding rounds led by the private owner-seller. Agent-led bidding rounds will come behind business and agent registration and real BankID. Today the identity step is in demo mode ("Bekreft med Vipps" — Confirm with Vipps — always approved, clearly labelled — no real signing). Once real Vipps/BankID access is in place, the demo is replaced by real signing without the flow changing.

Valuation enquiries from homeowners

Homeowners who are considering selling and would like a valuation can submit an enquiry through Finnting. Enquiries that are relevant to your firm are routed to you by the Finnting team and appear in the "Kjøpsforespørsler" (Purchase enquiries) tab in the Business centre. There is no automatic assignment — the Finnting team reviews each enquiry and connects it with a suitable agent. The service is in its early phase.

The rules are evolving

Prop. 41 L (2024–2025), a Norwegian legislative proposal, proposes changes to eiendomsmeglingsloven concerning, among other things, bidding and suitability requirements. We are following developments and keeping the solution in line with current law.

This is not legal advice. Before a real, agent-led bidding round goes live, the flow will be reviewed by someone with professional estate agency expertise.
